Yarralumla P&C is an active parent body within the Yarralumla Primary School organisation. It meets once a term (usually week 3) and is crucial in supporting the school both financially and socially via a variety of events. It operates two school enterprises, the canteen and the uniform shop. It also supports the Fundraising Committee as well as other subcommittees as required.

- Election Day Stalls Update
The election day stalls raised $3,142 in a few short hours, selling out of everything bar a few sausages. Thankfully, the weather was kind and the long lines of voters provided a great opportunity for our students to sharpen their sales skills as they worked the queues selling bags of biscotti!
The P&C would like to thank everyone who volunteered to bake, work on the stalls and lend eskies. We know that parents and carers are busy so your efforts and enthusiasm is greatly appreciated:

Believe it or not, we have the A.C.T. election in a couple of months, so it would be great to repeat this effort!

Parents and the local community are invited to attend P&C meetings. Meetings are held in the school staffroom, usually in Week 3 of each term, with motions and agendas being advertised via the school newsletter. Meetings usually start around 7pm and aim to be finished within 2 hours. Meetings are a way to hear what is happening at the school directly from the Principal and the School Board and an opportunity to raise any concerns or suggestions.
